Stuver Outfitting has operated on private leased ranches in game rich Powder River County Montana since 1983. The goal has always been management for mature animals, with an opportunity to see and enjoy some of Montana’s most pristine and unique environment. It is under one manager since origin with family members and professional guides assisting. Fair chase hunting with respect for the animals and environment is the absolute priority.
Success rates since origin are over 99% rifle deer, and 100% rifle antelope. Bow success varies year to year with weather always a huge factor. We hunt 2-4 clients each week, with 2 hunters with each guide, unless one on one.
Our ranch and base camp is 9 miles SW of Broadus, Montana. Broadus has a full service meat shop and a taxidermist whose work is comparable to the best anywhere. Lodging facilities at our ranch are ordinary but clean and comfortable. There is a nearby motel for those who prefer more privacy. Over 90% of our annual clientele are returning customers, who have become close personal friends through the years.
